We have had some awesome two weeks of hard work here in Rivera. We worked so hard in fact that the president of the mission himself called us to congratulate us on the work. Yes, we freaked out.
The thing we've been working in mostly has been the "finding" area. We are looking for those who are looking or at least ready to listen. The great thing that we have come to see is that as we make and plan out our days and our times and set goals, the Lord puts people and things in our path so that we can achieve these goals.
Also just the knowing that this is the Lord's work and not our own is comforting. I know that he is working and prepearing people right along with any of our efforts. Yesterday we had a zone conference and the mission president's wife made every companionship chocolate chip cookies—SO good! It was just nice to have a taste of home.
We haven't bought groceries in weeks; the members feed us, then send us home with leftovers. I am starting to drag my companion out to run in the mornings. Otherwise I forsee my coat not fitting not too far away.
