Aug. 10 2009

On Saturday, we went on divisions with two sixteen year olds from the ward—it was really great. It was interesting to be kind of on your own like that without another "professionally-trained" missionary at your side, but it turned out super fun. Plus we got in double the lessons for the day so it was a great success.

On Friday, the neighboring branch asked my companion and I to do a special musical number in the branch activity. (Really it was mostly for my companion's violin talent, but I always get included some way or other...) Anyway we went to the activity and they just happened to be having a dessert contest. That is, everyone had made and brought a dessert to win a prize. They needed judges—of course we volunteered. Twelve cakes later, I was about sugared out...super good cakes though suger no longer appetites me.

Aww time goes bye so quick. Thanks to all that write me. I love you all.
