blue blue skies in rain clouds

Hello

Another great week in fray bentos.

It’s been really hard lately with investigators, mostly just for the problems thy are having in their families, and marriages. It makes me so happy to have had the family I have and the things I now about the gospel and life to help in with marriage in the future. It is very rare that any of the teenagers we talk with have desires to get married, most say – what’s the point; no one ever stays together anyway. Or: I’ll be happy by myself.

Where has all the hope gone about a happy strong family?

I love the members here. I just feel that they are part of my own family. On Sunday, it was Testimony meeting and little Anthony (he and his sister were baptized in November, and have increasingly become more and more active they are amazing!) comes up to my bench and grabs my hand. I ask him, you want to go up and bear your testimony? He was nervous but he went up with me, and after I bore my testimony we pulled the extra step out for the podium, and he stood up and gave a beautiful sweet testimony. We’re having a family night today with them and a few other people from the neighborhood, it should be really fun and they all want to participate. This Friday, we are putting on another talent show – a few of our investigators are already preparing things.

Update on Conrado and Pablo who were baptized just a few weeks ago, both of them were interviewed and are receiving the priesthood next week! Yay! Plus Pablo signed up for a three year subscription for the ensign! It that’s not commitment I don’t know what is. Haha

At sister's conference on wednesday I saw all of my old companions! Both Hna Oja and Hna Murdock are gong home the end of this change. It was so sad to say good bye to them. It's like reenforcing the reality that this time on the mission is so temporary. In just a few months I'm see hna murdock not even as a missionary but just a regualar normal girl in utah county. we cried and hugged goodbye. I have really (knock on wood) had great companions. I've loved every one of them and they have each been at one time by best friend.

hopefully I'm not jinxing myself for the last two companions that I have lol, but I don't fear.
venga lo que venga lo voy a disfrutar!!

Soo don’t for get to prepare questions of thigs to say for when I talk to you on Sunday! I want to have a nice full conversation with out any awkward pauses!
