Bees, flour and honey

Hello!
A good week. We had zone conference.

Saturday was Hermana Moreno’s birthday! The Uruguayan tradition is to throw eggs and flour at the birthdayer. Of course I couldn’t pass up such an opportunity. Please see attached photo. She wanted to kill me afterwards but at least we got some good photos out of it. Lol. Please note the cute sign I made hanging in the background.

Sunday I was supposed to give a talk. I worked on it all week but even up until the last moment, I just didn’t feel like I had gotten it all together. I was dying of nerves waiting for sacrament meeting to start. Worst of all the Stake President was going to be present and my companion said he is really critical about sacrament talks. O geez. My heart was pounding all through the passing of the sacrament. But when the second counselor stood up to announce the order of the talks, I was not included! They had forgotten they had asked me to do it!! When does that ever happen? I recognize it as a tender mercy of the lord.

Today I’m getting a few of the young women together to play rugby. They’re pretty stoked. I am too, I’m bringing my face paint. Will send pictures = )

Every day we see more seeds of the gospel sprouting throughout Fray Bentos. Our mission president has given us the challenge to baptize weekly. He told us that to achieve things we have never before achieved we must do things we have never before done.

The family Rodriguez. Super funny people. They sport the seventies look, but it works for them

Hey! Paula's getting baptized!
